Fountain Square Ice Rink

Fountain Square was cleaned, restored, and rededicated in 2000. It now serves as a central component of Cincinnati public life. As a beloved destination to Cincinnati locals and visitors, Fountain Square is a town venue that hosts several notable events, including an annual ice rink. The UC Health Ice Rink, now a favorite tradition for many Cincinnati families, is back this year. Presented by Fifth Third Bank, the outdoor ice arena is available from November 1, 2021, through February 22, 2022.

For 2021, Fountain Square has included bumper cars on the ice rink. For bumper car sessions, the rink will have two sections. Participants can decide to ride the bumper vehicles on one side or skate on the other. The bumper cars are a safe option to enjoy the ice for those who struggle a little while skating.

You can purchase non-refundable advanced tickets for the Fountain Square ice rink online. A session featuring bumper cars and ice skating is $15 per hour. To enjoy the simplicity of skates only, you can book a ticket for $10 per hour for adults and children over four years old. The online system accepts only major credit cards, so be sure to have all your information ready to submit.

Or visit Nanny Belle’s, the ice cream parlor, for snacks, drinks, and some hot cocoa. Other restaurants are ready to make your ice skating adventure a memorable one, including Brown Dog Cafe, Senate, and Tahona Kitchen + Bar.

The Summit Park ice rink is at 4335 Glendale Milford Road in Blue Ash, Ohio. The 2021-2022 ice skating season for this rink begins November 13 and runs through January 3. One-hour general sessions run for about $5 each. You can rent a skating aid for an additional $4 charge, and you can temporarily store your personal items safely in a coin locker for $0.50.
