The CrewMax cab offers much more legroom in the rear row, making it an attractive option for families or groups of friends to ride in.

Under the hood, the Tundra is powered by a twin turbocharged V-6 engine that churns out 389 horsepower. This unit helps produce the Tundra’s impressive towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. The Tundra can also haul up to 1,940 pounds in its cargo bed.

If you’d like a pickup but don’t need the capabilities offered by the Tundra, the Tacoma is a more affordable option. Thanks to its more compact design, it’s better suited for daily driving and has a higher fuel economy. It’s available with two cargo beds: one measuring 73 inches and the other coming in at 60 inches in length.

You can choose between an Access cab that seats four people or a Double cab with seating for five. The rear seats in the Access cab are smaller and designed for passengers to ride for short trips. When it comes to power, you can opt for the Tacoma’s base four-cylinder engine, which supplies adequate power for day-to-day driving. If you plan on pushing the Tacoma’s 6,800-pound towing limit, you’ll probably want to upgrade to the 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which gives you 278 horsepower.

If your priority is combining the maximum passenger and storage space and you don’t need the towing capabilities of a pickup, the Toyota Sienna minivan could be your best choice. In its base setup, you can accommodate up to eight people across the Sienna’s three rows. Alternatively, you can add a touch more comfort by switching out the second-row bench seat for two captain’s chairs, which reduces the overall seating capacity to seven.

Behind the third row, you’ll have over 33 cubic feet of storage space. That’s plenty to carry luggage for a large family vacation or weekend trip out of town. If you plan on using your minivan to move household items, you can fold down the third row to open up an impressive 75 cubic feet of space and still have room to travel with five passengers in the first two rows. If that’s not enough storage space for your things, you can tow up to 3,500 pounds at the rear.

The Sienna is equipped with a 245-horsepower engine, which includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. The electric motors help provide punchy acceleration and great fuel economy. The Sienna can achieve 36 mpg in the city and on the highway in front-wheel drive and still gets an excellent 35 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway with all-wheel drive.
